To qualify for funding from the Ayida Foundation, applicants must meet the following
requirements:
Who Can Apply (Annual Grants)
Be a legally registered, not-for-profit organization operating in Nigeria or internationally (with registration from the Corporate Affairs Commission, a state agency, or a recognized regulatory authority in country of location).
Maintain a verifiable organizational structure.
Submit proposals that align with the Foundation’s strategic focus and objectives.
Demonstrate active community involvement and collaboration with relevant government stakeholders.
Show a proven track record in implementing similar or related initiatives.
Provide concrete, realistic goals and objectives with an equally realistic budget.
Be an individual or a legally registered, not-for-profit organization operating in Nigeria or
internationally (with registration from the Corporate Affairs Commission, a state agency, or
a recognized regulatory authority).
Possess verifiable experience in one of the Foundation’s focus areas.
Willing to comply with all the Foundation’s internal review processes.
Submit a rapid or short-term proposal with measurable outcomes and a concrete impact on the beneficiaries.
Who Cannot Apply
The Foundation does not provide grants to:
Organizations not legally registered.
Government entities
Organizations/Individuals previously found to have misused the Ayida Foundation funds.
Political parties, associations, or any of their affiliates.
Organizations promoting illegal, violent, or inhumane activities.
